Animations Ltd 2005 [www.aardman.com]
The 2006 Great Reading Adventure ran from
5 January to 25 March.
We've been delighted by the response we've
had to the project from across the South
West region. Thousands of copies of the
adult and children's versions of Around
the World in Eighty Days have been
borrowed from local libraries, and the feedback
from borrowers has been very positive. People
have liked the quality of the books and
the support material produced, and have
been enjoying the quizzes, story-telling
sessions, puppet shows, creative workshops,
family fun-days and other activities that
have taken place. A full evaluation report
will be available here as a download by
autumn 2006.
We will continue to occasionally update
the Phileas Blogg page on this site with
news of books tracked through the bookcrossing
scheme so please still send us your emails
and postcards.
The next Great Reading Adventure will begin
in January 2007.
Some of the documents on this site are in
