I wanted to provide some feedback on this years Bristol Reading Adventure book. I have just finished reading The Siege borrowed from Redland library. I read a lot and am a regular library user but I would probably not have chosen this book without the event. I read the book in one sitting and enjoyed it immensely – the siege was something I really knew nothing about. I intend to encourage my 15 year old son to read the book as he is visiting St Petersburg this summer on a school trip – he has also used the web site link to the St Petersburg history which we would not otherwise have found. I will definately attend at least one of the events as well.

Thanks for a very good event. I read Day of the Triffids last year but this years choice is the best yet – please keep up the good work.
